Yarra Junction

The Eagles were a force in the Yarra Valley Football League for many years, with their overall tally of six senior grade flags making them one of the competition’s most successful clubs. Their only Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League premierships were both won in Division Two.

Results over the past decade have largely been encouraging highlighted by finals qualification in 2007 (finished third), 2009 (third), 2010 (runners-up), 2011 (third), 2013 (fifth) and 2014 (fifth). The next three seasons saw them finish seventh in 2015, eighth in 2016 and seventh on the nine team Division Two premiership ladder. Then, in 2018 they finally broke a twenty-eight year premiership drought. What is more, they did so in highly impressive and emphatic fashion, trouncing Seville in the grand final by 96 points, 20.17 (137) to 6.5 (41).

The club's reserves have fared much better than the seniors, claiming a competition record six Division Two premierships.
